Anyone see any problems not only with people who ask these kinds of questions, but also with those who a) know the answer and b) want to help the OP? |

Anyone see any problems with not only with people who a) unquestioningly jump through any hoop government bureaucracies put in their way, and those who b) have no concepts of the words "freedom" and "police state?" |

Nope, I have a "Disturbing the Peace" (for hosting a party in college and having had the stereo too loud) ticket that comes up when a Criminal background check is done of my record. My Public School didn't say anything, BUT...
Someone mentioned only an absolutely "clean" -- "NO RECORD" submission will be accepted by Immi. Therefore, I would have probably started this thread in a day or two asking about other destinations. Nothing wrong with knowing your options, eh?
So what are the best places in China to teach? Secondly, any other Asian countires actually take into consideration the difference between playing music too loud once back in college and pedophelia and murder? |

My FBI background check took eight months and cost 60.00 dollars which I was reimbursed for when I finally recieved my teaching certificate. I have trouble believing that all countries require this in order to teach. My friend said he couldn't recall submitting one for Japan. |

Wow, I've got alot of speeding tickets and my license was suspended once a long time ago. I wonder if Id be excluded? Imagine not being able to teach in Korea because of a bad driving record! You know, they wanna make sure the roads stay safe here.... |

"The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."
You can capitulate if you like. I prefer to go down fighting. |
