From December, when foreign teachers who wish to enter the country to teach English apply for a visa, they will be requested to submit criminal and medical history information, the Ministry of Justice announced on the 27th.

The Ministry plans that when foreign teachers apply for the E-2 visa for language instructors they will submit their criminal records and be required to go through an interview with a Korean English teacher.

I can't believe they'll actually go through with this plan -- interviews with Korean teachers? How are they going to put THAT together. They won't. And it's not clear if they have Immi's help to do this or not.

They have Korean Immigration support as the Ministry of Justice runs immigration. Immigration is a department of the Ministry of Justice.
