Anyone who has been here for a little while will remember the Korean woman was studying in Canada and made some adult films to help pay her tuition. Perfectly legal in Canada, but when she got back to Korea she was charged and fined (no links, but I'm sure someone has them).
Playboy magazine features full body nudes, which is illegal here. Lee Sabi, a Korean, posed in Playboy:

I gotta say it's hard to compare Playboy to some creepy online sex videos. But you are right--it is hypocritical.
There is also one other Korean porn star who Koreans all love, Sung-hi Lee. Everyone here idolises her for some reason. |

First of all, epic thread, second of all, Almond Tease, as she's known, was doing hardcore. usually, in Korea, hardcore means taking off the granny-panties, but I think they let Lee Sabi slide since it's playboy. Almond Tease, however, had the bad sense to get herself caught up in a "scandal", and we all know shit goes down the tubes in this country once you're down that route. |
