whose got 'em? pleeeease put up a link or PM me. i'd like to throw some up on my blog for friends back home. of all the nights to forget my camera...

And I thought using Halloween as an excuse to dress super slutty hot was a western thing. i mean of course it wasn't that surprising, I probably could've guessed that K-girls would embrace it so wholeheartedly...but still, some of those outfits...

un-believable. enough to turn a gay man straight.

and to the guy in the Road Hazard Barrel Suit/Traffic Cone Hat...you inspire me. big ups for sticking it out until 5amish. and well done to your traffic lady as well.

also, out of curiousity...for those who were in Hongdae, how were the costumes there? good showing? what was the best one you saw...

I'll post my Hongdae pictures later maybe but I only saw about five costumes the whole night. Oh yeah, not counting the hot trio who were witch, nurse, and something else hot. I wish I got their picture.

Last night was so much fun and everyone seemed to have such a great time. John Digweed played some great tunes... it was class. I really have to say I liked the venue, Sheraton Walker Hill has had some really cool parties. That place is just so classy looking. Sound system was great too. And if you were drinking rum and cokes, and politely asked them to fill the whiskey up a little more, they gave very generous portions!!

So yeah, had a great time, and the ladies were looking as good as ever.

Oh, and special mention goes out to "Pylon Man" and his cool girlfriend (great costumes!!)... also, Kimchi Man, whoever you are, u brought life to the party for sure!! (others too, sorry if i left u out!)

But ya.. all around excellent party and worth the 40,000. Smile

Wish Sasha and Digweed could be there together next time!

Glad that party was awesome. I was in Paris on the weekend of the World Cup Rugby final and went to see Bob Sinclar, now he, along with Sasha and Carl Cox are my fav DJ's. However, the point of my story is.... I met a DJ in Paris who used to DJ a little in Korea, his name is Josh (sorry can not remember his last name) and apparently he is going to return to Korea next year to teach and work the club circuit in Korea and Japan (He is living in Lodon, but I think he is an Australian). I am trying to find out more about this guy, because, and mark my words, he will be the Sasha/Digweed of Korea. The club he played was only small but, and it could of been because of the WorldCup final, the music and atmosphere were amazing.
Would also like to see some suggestions on good clubs and good DJ's in Korea (Seoul or Busan) who play trance or Funky House. Anyone know please post.
Take care

just looked at the 02 productions sitehttp://www.02pro.com/?mid=free&document_srl=73023, they're going to put up pics for the Costume Contest on Wed. i think

also looked elsewhere on the 'net but no luck. tis a shame.

Digweed's set was awesome, seemed like it started out kinda slow but definitely picked up speed and for several hours i was in heaven. and without any drugs! Sad and they definitely weren't stingy with the whisky...every drink i got was like 90% whisky 10% coke.

the crowd could've been a little more into it, but i guess that's what you get at a posh club in seoul. lot of people there to be seen. not that i'm really complaining. hottest crowd ever.

i like how that "other" post about this party has gotten 2000 views. i definitely didn't see anybody getting it on and i was there from 1030pm till 530am. but if it was indeed a fat foreigner couple then i probably just blocked it out and focused on the Korean fairy dryhumping her Korean angel bunny friend.

Pretty much the same thing in Itaewon (wolfhound, other points north, main strip & alleyways).

Foreigners, male & female: Of the 10~20% that wore costumes, nearly all were of the D-I-Y variety. Some quite intricate.

Korean guys: Only bartenders from what I saw. At most a one-item "token costume" -- pirate's eyepatch, Dracula fangs, etc.

Korean girls: Exactly as you described the ones up at the Sheraton Walker Hill. I don't think your average Korean girl would consider a costume that made her look funny or funky or comical or (gasp!) scary. No, Halloween to them is an annual cosplay fashion show with designer labels, but nothing silly or innocent -- the accent was decidedly on "super slutty hot".
