Just a quick question - if one wanted to have a party in a bar, does one need a prior reservation thing, or can they just rock on in, on the designated evening and have everything hunky dory? What was the procedure for using Yellow for the gatherings?

Does anyone else know of any other bars, besides Yellow, that are suitable for personal things?

if this is a reference to your Upcoming Birthday, then I can help you out. Denz & GoD would be a good choice as well.

The first time I went around to Yellow and asked.. just to make sure they'd be able to deal with it. (Regarding the first Yellow gathering).

Since the first time, as far as I know (unless someone else gave them a head's up), we just kind of showed up.. they seemed well equipped to deal with it.. so no big deal it seems.

(Must be weird for people who just walk-in on some nights and see the place packed and other nights empty).

I'd say generally its better to give a head's up.. just so a bar knows what to anticipate for the night.. as well as to minimize conflicts with another party that might have something similar in mind.

Yes it is. Thought I'd better pull finger and get the party started. Help i s greatly appreciated, for I am a marvelous ideas person, but that is where it ends.

What do you reckon about using Yellow again? It's like when you're at the ice cream shop, and you have to choose a flavour, do you go with the old faithful goody goody gum drops, or try something new?

well, figure the number of people, where they will be coming from, what they will be primarily drinking, and if you want dancing as an option.

Also, date would be important, as well - I'm guessing a Saturday???

G.

heya - you haven't updated us on how your night finished up yet!!!
