A boycott would only work if the majority of foreign teachers in Korea posted here on Dave's and read about it (they don't). And in any case there are numberous illegals who will take any job no matter what. |

i'm a recruiter. The school called me on Friday afternoon(October 26) asking for a Canadian teacher. I had a Canadian candidate so I emailed his application to the director. The reponse I got from the director was "I refuse to hire this Canadian because he doesn't look 100% white"
I looked at his picture again, and realized he didnt have blond hair & blue eyes.
Let's boycott Yangsan BCM. |
That's amazing. I can't wait to tell my friends about this one.
One way to boycott them would be to blacklist the school on every blacklist website you can find (there are several). Many teachers don't read this board, but I'm willing to bet a good number of them look up the schools on the internet trying to find out information about them (I know I did) before they sign. |

A year or two ago, when I was looking for a job I got an offer for this place. The contract was a joke. Seriously, no experienced teacher would look twice at it. Any newbie should have serious reservations as well.
Read the fine print carefully, that's my advice for you. |

If anyone, you'll be the one who is blacklisted. I haven't heard of many recruiters encouraging others to boycott another school. What are your motivations? Who are you really working for? You sound pretty shady. |
