I admit it, after eating cereal for breakfast and public school cafeteria food for lunch, I'm ready to eat something quick and easy for dinner that's not rice. What do you think it more nutritious, pizza or ramen?
And yes, I know the real answer is neither, but humor me here |

Neither is definitely the correct answer, but pizza is probably the better option.
Ramen has enough sodium to kill a small animal. This will give you high blood pressure, destroy various organs in your body etc. Almost no nutritional value whatsoever.
Pizza also high in sodium, but not quite as bad. Makes up for it by high amounts of saturated fats in the cheese. These will clog your arteries and give you heart attacks. Also, as a general rule, the more meat the more heart attacks.
However, if your pizza is mostly veggies and fairly low on cheese you get a lot less fat and sodium and can get some modest amounts of vitamins and such. Still bad for you, but has some nutritional value and won't kill you quite as fast. |

Yeah, pizza depends on how you make it; Ramen is NEVER good...ever. |

eat whatever you want, just do it in moderation...you already know they are bad for you, so you don't need a nutrition lesson, you just need not to eat them everyday and not in large quantities when you do....
i eat healthy 5 to 6 days a week, and then if i want to indulge myself on the weekend i will...one day of having a snack you enjoy is not going to kill you....your body usually reacts poorly to fats and foods its not used to getting...it will literally try to get it out of you as quickly as possible...
so ya, just eat whatever you want, but in moderation... |

I would pick ramen over pizza.
Yes, Ramen has a lot of sodium but you don't get the full dosage of it unless you drink the soup dry. When I eat ramen, I just eat the noodles and throw the soup away.
When exercising, I think its easier to burn off one ramen than it is 3-4 slices of pizza. I'm referring to a regular combination pizza. |

I was leaning toward ramen too, but it may be due to the way I eat it. I drain all the water out and only use about 1/4 the packet of sodiu--er, seasoning. |

Pizza - if the ramen is instant. Otherwise, ramen all the way. |

Same here.
I can't imagine people using the entire pack and drinking all the water as well. Kinda disgusting actually. |

Well, stating the obvious here, since the OP clearly doesn't care about eating unhealthily, I'd recommend pizza because ramyeon won't fill you up whereas pizza will. But consider the calories in pizza.
If you're gonna eat pizza every day, be sure to join a gym if you don't use one already. At average walking pace, it takes approximately 10 minutes (1km) to burn 50 cals. So a pizza of 300+ cals per slice more than once or twice per week? Before long you'll be so fat people will assume you're from Mississippi. Do you drink? You're gonna gain even more, since alcohol replaces the burning of fat and carbs as a source of energy. Do you smoke? Cigarettes not only clog up your arteries, nicotine also narrows them.
Re-think this maybe? |

I'd just avoid the pizza altogether - exercise won't help a jot: http://observer.guardian.co.uk/magazine/story/0,,2198862,00.html |

Check out the fat content in ramen and you might be surprised. My friends used to joke about western fast food and Krispy Kreme as being "the fattening of Korea", but I think good ole ramen plays a big role in that. There is absolutely nothing good about the stuff, other than it is a quick fix. |

You've taken quite a journey there. I actually haven't drank much since my first weekend here when I saw my friends burning through 50k won a night barhopping. I don't smoke. I do like to eat--and most of the things I like to eat are unhealthy. I've tried to change my ways, but whenever I try to eat healthier it always just makes me crave the foods I like (and are bad for me) more, not to mention the foods that are easiest to make are often the lest healthy. |
