First It's the diploma and transcripts, next a police check, then a medical checkup, and a list of students who graduated with you and what degrees they had. And a website showing the schools accredidation. Finally a letter that certifies you graduated from said University. Did I leave anything out? Oh yes an Interview and a resume and cover letter. and two references not family members. |

The photo of you and the univeristy president must be notorized by your embassy, and sent to immigration in a sealed envelope. |

Since I started working for public school. All joking aside I had one heck of a headache getting all of this stuff. Everyweek for 3 months it was something new it seemed. Every month my KT has to input all my information into the Department of Education data base. Same thing over and over. I think they think the information will change somehow. Anyway be warned they will ask. When? I don't know. But they will ask. |

I especially like the one about the umbilical cord...
Nothing to do really but laugh about all this. Thanks to all of you keeping it going! |

In the International Herald Tribune this morning they said that there was a new regulation regarding police checks, but said nothing about health records, consular interviews, etc. Where are you getting that? |
