First It's the diploma and transcripts, next a police check, then a medical checkup, and a list of students who graduated with you and what degrees they had. And a website showing the schools accredidation. Finally a letter that certifies you graduated from said University. Did I leave anything out? Oh yes an Interview and a resume and cover letter. and two references not family members.

The photo of you and the univeristy president must be notorized by your embassy, and sent to immigration in a sealed envelope.

I hear tomorrow they are scheduling a CQ (Corea Quijje) to test your IQ.

All waegooks will be subjected to questions regarding their stance on Dokdo, Japanese Imperialism, rigged World Cup soccer results and bosintang.

** Bonus points will be awarded to those that can eat bondeggi with chopsticks.

Study hard 'ol chaps!

Since I started working for public school. All joking aside I had one heck of a headache getting all of this stuff. Everyweek for 3 months it was something new it seemed. Every month my KT has to input all my information into the Department of Education data base. Same thing over and over. I think they think the information will change somehow. Anyway be warned they will ask. When? I don't know. But they will ask.

I especially like the one about the umbilical cord...

Nothing to do really but laugh about all this. Thanks to all of you keeping it going!

In the International Herald Tribune this morning they said that there was a new regulation regarding police checks, but said nothing about health records, consular interviews, etc. Where are you getting that?
