After a brief review of your posts, it's plain that you are semi-literate. |

Is Korea full of hippies? C'mon, it couldn't be as bad as Amsterdam. |

White collar conservative flashin down the street, pointing that plastic finger at me, they all assume my kind will drop and die, but I'm gonna wave my freak flag high.
I'm the one that has to die when it's time for me to die, so let me live my life, the way I want to. |

I came to Korea under the illusion of being a hippie here...however that is an impossibility. This place makes you a hardened bastard.
But I am still a softy at heart. |

Is the hippyness spread evenly amongst all expats? ie; are there non North American hippies?
And if so, which hippie smells worst? I would assume British hippie, but only because one of my friends at school was a British hippie, and incredibly smelly, kind of like if pot farted. |

You could argue that there are very few real hippies left. The long haired
bums you see on Kho Sarn road in BKK and Goa in India. Don't listen to real hippie music. Sure a lot of them smoke dope and stink but that scarsly qualifies you a hippie.
They listen to more rave music. They may have the look but there's always a bunch of baldies or post punk goths around. Its a kind of travelling hippy wannabe's subculture. I've never cared much for the whole scene and would rather go to an open air beer bar in Phuket than go to the Kho Panyang full moon party. |
