On the off chance anyone wants to teach this to their students, you can find the karafunfile here: http://www.esnips.com/web/KaraFunFiles

I also have the lyrics and a powerpoint I put together to address some of the vocabulary in the song.

It's strange to see 3rd and 4th grade elementary school students in Korea in 2007 singing "Who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters!" Laughing

I can't believe that movie came out over 20 years ago Shocked

Aly,

Wow, that would have been a blast to teach my kids when I was teaching at the public school. You are right though...how the heck could 20 years have blown by that quick?

*runs off singing, "Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!"*

A lot of the FOB's who get here were born after Ghostbusters was released.

I was talking about Braveheart the other week and the kids were giving me blank looks. I was demonstrating Gibson's terrble acting and shouting "Freedom" then my co-teacher pointed out that the movie came out when the students were 3 or 4 years old.

Bloody hell.

Somehow I doubt it. I was 3 or 4 when it came out. I vaguely remember seeing it on channel 11 in NYC when I was a kid. That and the cartoon show Laughing

Yeah. And let it die in peace, for christ's sake. No nostalgia here for that horrid piece of crap movie and crap song.

On another note, last year I taught my students "We're not gonna take it" by Twisted Sister. Razz
