Hi, I brought two Monkeys from Indonesia, and I have to get rid of them. My wife and I got jobs in Bali, and she wants them gone. (If it were up to me, I'd keep them forever) We got them for free on vacation, and have invested great effort into them.

-

- They're a Macaque sub-species; one is 11 pounds, (3.5 years old) the other is 8 pounds. (About 3 years old) Both female. They're very playful and friendly.
-
- They're registered with the Ubud Monkey Forest Sanctuary
-
- We'd like payment only for the cage and meds, which we have a four-month supply.

-

We've had them for the past 2.5 years, and have kept up to date with all their shots. A spacious apartment would be ideal.

-

I live in Incheon, and can be reached at 010 2288 6992. Ask for Dristin. I'd like to narrow down candidates within the next week.

-

thanks everyone-

Few years back I had a pet monkey in Thailand. She stayed at a friends resort on one of the islands. There was no way she could have ever lived inside, a house, she was a monkey. Monkeys like to mess about and play with things, go through the bins, pull bed sheets of the bed etc. They aren;t really animals that can be kept inside.
My monkey had free reign around the resort except for night times where she was locked up in her cage to keep her safe from foreigners.

Can't imagine the stink and the mess that two monkeys would create in an apartment

Must be a wind up this advert.[/quote]

Its funny you'd mention this, because just today, at my local, small town 5 day market, I saw a monkey for sale. I dont know what kind it was. It was gray.. maybe 10lbs? Very very out of place! Usually, the guy selling it just has dogs, hamsters, mice, maybe a cat or a goat. One other time, a skunk. I was wondering where he got a monkey... maybe it was from these people in this ad. I was tempted to buy it, keep it in my apt for a week, and then take it with me on my way out of Korea and let it loose in Singapore where I have a stopover on my way to Australia next week.. but.. naaah... Next time they have the market (next Sunday) I'll get a photo and put it up here.

I'd only take it if it's the kind that jacks off and flicks its baby gravy at passers by.

Good. That way, if you get really bored here in Korea, you can always spank your monkey.
