Gads...that's a lot of money for a pair of stinking headphones. An MSRP of $179.99 is absolutely ridiculous! They're headphones!!!

Not cheap agreed, but then a Rolls-Royce is not for everybody.

I bought this pair, and I'm quite happy with them. It's SO NICE to be able to turn on the headphones and have the world just kind of fade away into a quietness outside of my own cocoon. It really brings peace to my afternoons at work when there are kids shrieking outside and they help me relax on long train rides. The sound quality from them is great, but really the "turn down the outside world" is why I bought them.
Besides, I think beer/alcohol is a more frivolous purchase than headphones. I think I can justify this well; I don't drink, so I don't spend $20 or $30 a week making myself silly and literally p!ssing away my money. |

Yes, because no other brand does expensive mediocrity better than bose. (with the exception of these headphones - which are actually quite good).

i went to the Ipod store in Myeong Dong to play with the new Ipod touch.
it is pretty cool but I want a 80gb+ version..
anyhow i tried out the Bose headsets.... and they were pretty awesome...
yes they are expensive but sound was great... the inner ear ones didnt impress me much... but they are more discreet...
I definately want to get a used set.. but i have to save up first |

And their professional bass speakers ....
And their radios .....
And the iPod docking stations ....
Expensive - yes.
Mediocre - no, simply US innovation and quality at its best.
(And no, I am not American). |
