For me it was -- and still is, really -- Annie Lennox.

Hey, is this thread a little too testosteroney. Hows about some from the estrogen side?

I really like the flood of iconic images from the past though. The people who I all grew up with all together again. It's like some great dysfunctional happy family reunion. Nice to meet you gals, come to one of these thangs often? Laughing Rolling Eyes

Rick Schroder on Silver Spoons:

For a whiteboy, I think he aged beautifully.

Russell Wong on Vanishing Son:

And who can forget the *beep* he played in The Joy Luck Club. For being part Asian, he didn't age as gracefully:

(Looks like an old man now, but I used to swear I'd marry him as a teen =P)

However, Rick Hunter from Robotech was still my first crush <3

I'm always a little surprised by whom women find attractive. We men are simple: curves and symetrical features and simple visual sexiness.

I would never have guessed, for example, Ricky Schroder as a babe magnet, though I can see Russell Wong, because he seems in those photos as more of a "beef cake" dude, the analogous male version of the buff babe.

But, what about Leo DiCaprio and River Phoenix and Keanu Reeves? I don't see the common denominator. I understand that they are easy on the eyes, but what is it particularly about them and Brad Pitt types that make them so appealing? (Sometimes, I think I will never understand the woman organism).

Phoebe Cates, yea, but married to Kevin Kline for over a decade and going on two, a rarity for Hollyrock.

I was pretty young when magnum PI was on but I definitely thought Tom Selleck had it.
I had a thing for Rob Lowe until I was about 14 and then you can blame 21 Jump Street for a long faithful admiration of Mr Depp.

River Phoenix was cute as well, I would have had a crush on him as a kid had he been on a popular TV show. As for Keanu and Leonardo, I never really liked them too much. But Brad Pitt is hot. Was hot and still hot! He has awesome facial features, nice jaw, lips, smile. Watch Troy and it's obvious why girls love him >.<

As for recent crushes (more my friends but I'm guilty as well):

James Franco on Tristan & Isolde. Every girl in that theater was seriously in love and daydreaming of James Franco after watching that movie. When I mean girl, I mean grown women that somehow turned into giggling-daydreaming girls LOL. I admit the movie wasn't good, but it's on my DVD list just because of him.

My wife giggled over and ogled James Franco like a little schoolgirl during the movie too. She would not stop talking about him to her friends for days thereafter. I thought that Keanu and this dude, Franco, kinda sucked as actors, but I guess their mugs make up the difference.

Leo was good acting in Blood Diamonds. That movie we both liked, the dudes for the action (and for Jennifer Connelly) and the shela for Leo. Leo, however, I thought, just recently got his acting together because he sucked heroically in his acting in a little known movie where he played Flaubert with the guy who played professor Lupin (from Harry Potter). He and Keanu made a I Henry IV modern remake which quite sucked eggs of Herculean proportions.

Thank gawd he got better. Franco sucked in Spidyman too, but go figure. Rolling Eyes

Edit: The Shakespeare remake was with River Bottom and not DiCaprio.
