Yeah, I never understood the obsession with Sarah Jessica Parker and Sex and the City. If I wanted to hear old women talk about sex I'd get married. A very dull program.

I guess I've been in Korea too long, b/c I don't know who Amy Winehouse is. Is she famous back home?

I don't know why Sandra Oh is on there. Yeah, she's not hot, but unlike the other 4 I don't think she's ever been marketed as somebody supposed to be attractive. I think you could throw Nicole Richie in the top 5 instead.

She is so unattractive, it's just sad.

Really, she and the whole sex & city thing are only attractive to women and gay men.

I never met a straight man who thought she was hot!

My friend's wife absolutely adores her and the show. She thinks SJP is such a fashion idol. She gets really p!ssed when I start dissing the show and talk about how awfully bad SJP dresses.

It's a fun, silly, circular argument like the time I was telling this woman how much the movie Moulin Rouge sucked.

Me: That movie sucked. Only women and gay men like it.
She: But's it's so good. I loved it.
Me: Because you're a woman.
She: No, it's a great movie!
Me: For women & gay men.
She: No, you should watch it again. You'll like it.
Me: No I won't because I'm not a woman and not gay.
She: But it's such a great movie.

And so it goes round and round until I can't stop laughing.

Also, I agree, as other posters have said, Sandra Oh was a bad choice for this list.
While not thought of as sexy or a "beauty", she never tries to portray herself as such.
Another example: Francis McDormand- great actress. Not attractive, but has never tried to be.

Now, Paris Hilton tries to be sexy and beautiful all the time.
She is pure ugly skank! There is so much that is unnatractive about her.
As one guy put it, "She is so untalented that she can't even give a proper B.J.!".

I think all the main actresses on Sex in the City are hot, with the exception of the redhead. She's decent looking, but she would be last on my list. The hottest broad on the show is the brunette. Get a chub just looking at her, if I mute the volume when she's talking.

SJB is good looking, I think. I don't know about sexy, though.

She's the complete anti-thesis of what they think a female Korean star should be.

She's not conventionally attractive- she has a large face and wears little to no makeup.
Also, she usually play sexually liberated characters.

For the most part, Koreans are not proud of her- generally disown her of the minjok.

I remember one guy writing on the boards about the "near universal Korean opinion that Sandra Oh is far too ugly to be a famous actress".
