In Korea when somebody doesn't answer the phone where you are calling to there is a recording. There is something for 1, something for 2, and so on. Anybody out there know what those messages are? If you want to leave a message which button do you press?

Just like back home, it's different for each place.

Most of the time its Press 1. You'll hear something like "Mess-sa-gi il-bon". 9/10 if you press 1 you'll get the beep and you can leave a message.

However, in my experiences most Koreans don't use voicemail very often. You're better off leaving a text-message if you can.
