Terminal City Ricochet.
A lot like Repo Man, without the nihilism. What City of Men and all other post-apocalyptic movies wish they could be. Plus it stars Jello Biafra and two of the guys from DOA. |

A couple more I'd add are Hard Core Logo and SLC Punk. Also, Sid and Nancy.
Really they're all about a bunch of misfits who sober up when one of them has a drug-related death. The best movies are documentaries, even though a lot of them have the whole drug-related death cliche.
I saw Punk Attitude by Don Letts a couple nights ago and it was pretty cool. |

Ever seen "Suburbia." Not that crap with Giovanni Ribisi. The original with Flea of RHCP, also directed by Penelope Spheeris. That's punk.

Sid and Nancy's the punk equivalent to American History X . Its full of mistakes. Sid never appeared on the Bill Grundy show. Glen Matlock was in the band at the time. He also never wore a hammer and sickle Tshirt. He wore a Swastika.
I do regret not putting Repo Man in the lineup. Repo man was the punk equivalent of This is England. It had a real Reagun feel to it. |

Thank you, Racetraitor. I do win. I do.
Seen a newer movie called "American Hardcore." It's specifically about hardcore, but has a great bit about Bad Brains. The Bad Brains are periodically my favorite punk band. |

Not really a punk movie. But still good.
That's a movie about the Mods and Rockers. A good movie that showed the Brighton riots in 1963. I know a British old geezer who was there. The movie actually inspired a revival of a lot of mod ,rude boy, and skinhead fashions. Plus a renewed interest in classic Vespa and Lambretta scooters. |
