Once we've settled on a definition of genius, Britain having the highest number per capita of such individuals is either true or false. The fact that Britons themselves made the claim has no contribution whatsoever to this truth or falsehood.

You're British, aren't you?

The two don't necessarily relate to each other. IQ tests are far from perfect, and even someone with a relatively low IQ can have a moment of inspiration that will lead to them being classed as a genius.

yeah obviously there are a few strange entries. Dont see any reason why USAma cant be a genius though. Maybe it takes a special kind of genius to be the most wanted man on the planet for nearly 10 years and keep the USA looking foolish again and again. Some would say Hitler was a genius. I would probably agree with that too. Being a sick *beep* doesnt stop you being a genius. The strangest thing is that Bin Laden was voted in a no.43 by 4000 Britons.

If 24% of the geniuses are from Britain, why can't they learn to use dental floss and toothpaste properly?

We love our rotten teeth, in much the same way that North American men love their big saggy man boobs.

A claim is not negated or supported by the nationality of the claimer. The claim "Britain has the most geniuses per capita" is negated or supported solely by the number of geniuses in Britain.

Not "solely" the number of geniuses in Britain, but also the number of geniuses in the entire world... And like I said before, we dont know how many geniuses there are in the world.. because the rest of the world just doesnt care about doing an intra-national study to find out whereas British people seem bent on discovering each and every genius in existence in Britain.. why do brits care so much about finding geniuses whereas the rest of the world doesnt give a rat's ass?
