I've been looking around for some good options for distance learning while in Korea.

Being a South African, I am used to paying a lot less than $15 000 for a year (or maybe even 2) of being at university. So, I checked out the University of South Africa and they seem quite promising. I've emailed them for a bit more info and may put up another post if what I hear is good.

I hope this doesn't look like an ad for the uni (I've read that the mods don't quite dig that), but check it out if you're interested. They say they have an examination centre in Seoul, so that is a major bonus (if you don't mind taking a day off from work sometime to go write an exam).

I've only checked out the fees and charges for a South African in a foreign country, but from what I've seen it looks like an international student will not get charged more than R20 000 (I'm inflating my estimate to be safe). That's about $3000.

Hope this sounds good to someone other than myself.

Just started this through the OU in the UK. Costing me around 2,400 (Pounds) per year although, as I'm a UK national, I probably pay less.
