Is it really slow and inefficient or am I just unlucky?

Been waiting for some parcels to arrive which I posted from the UK between 4 and 5 weeks before I left.

That was 9-weeks ago.

did you write out your address in cursive? Apparently that slows things down a lot, even if your handwriting is very neat

No, thought that would be asking for trouble. I printed the address in both Korean and English.

I'm obviously starting to get rather anxious and was just wandering what the "average" time for surface mail items to reach Korea is. As I said, I reckon it's been about 13-weeks now since I posted the first package. What's more worrying, is that one of the packages did turn up about 3-weeks ago. However, it was one that was posted last i.e. about a week before I left. One would assume that the rest would have arrived first as they were posted earlier, or at least, sometime soon after. I can't understand how the later parcel arrived before the earlier ones unless of course, one container ship overtook the other somewhere in the Indian Ocean.

Frustrating. Very frustrating.
