As for the idea of the thread, one of my students gave me the best answer ever when asked to use the word "official" in a sentence.

I also enjoy the liberal use of the word "best." And it's never "the best" either. Always "Best ________." |

That's a Jack Daniels promotional sign, straight from the company. You see them all over, even in the US (a coupla years ago, at least--the company may have phased them out). |
