The madness kicks off in a matter of hours and I was just wondering: who is in for the ride?

Have you set yourself any word rewards yet?

What changes (if any) have you made to your routine to accomodate the challenge?

Very Happy

I'm in Very Happy

Not sure yet what I'm writing - but something will happen tomorrow... I hope!

I don't have any rewards planned. Hmmm - a nice box of Belgian chocolates will cut it for me

Just giving up a bit of TV time to work on Nano. I'm not working much at the moment anyway so should have plenty of time, at least in early Nov until things ramp up again.

I'm going camping this weekend - can I camp with a laptop? Laughing Otherwise I might fall a bit behind...

That sounds like a great idea. Now that I may be delayed from Korea for 4-6 months if this whole FBI check thing is true I have no reason not to. I already quit my job.

heh. I am in the same boat. Not sure what I am writing yet...but since quality isn't an issue, I'm not overly concerned.

I figure I am going to hammer out at least double the daily quota on both Thursday and Friday (I only teach 2 classes at my public school both days) to compensate for the trip to Busan I am taking this weekend.

I don't forsee much writing happening Saturday or Sunday. Very Happy

Czarjorge - Having a lot of free time to write is definitely a bonus...but sorry it came under such stressful/unfortunate conditions. Sad

It's almost time! It's almost time!

Nanowrimo 2008 is just around the corner.

Who is participating this year?

Are you plotting or just flying by the seat of your pants?

I finished successfully last year with 54,000(ish) words and I am aiming for 60,000 this year.

Who else is up for the madness?

Very Happy

I'm in! No goals yet, as this is the first one I've been able to realistically participate in. I've got a basic outline, but nothing too detailed yet. We'll see how it goes!
