I just arrived in Korea two weeks ago. So far, so good. My school is great and my co-teachers are just so helpful and funny. I'm the only foreign teacher, though. I went out to Hongdae the other weekend. It was fun, but I didn't come to Korea just to drink. Well, drink and do other things, too.

Anyone know of any cool Newbie-teacher-friendly-welcome-to-Korea-we'll-show-you-around kind of club? Any volunteer organizations? I'm really interested in donating time to orphanages. Any of them accept foreign help? The orphanages I've looked up online don't look too welcoming to foreigners.

Any advice thrown my way would be most apreciated.
