Why did you quote me? I know this stuff. I studied physics up until third year in uni. This is basic newtonian Physics/basic energy type stuff. High school kids should be studying this stuff. If you forget this stuff, fine.

You had to look on wikipedia? Lame.[/quote]

Wow a little defensive today aren't we? I quoted you to add information to your post, not to critisize it. I believe that you know this stuff, but the detailed physics behind drag is not simple. Much of it is not even open to analytical solutions. They need to run computational simulations. Thats why they do so many wind tunnel tests and so on when they build new airliners. It can be broken down into simple approximations but they are just that. And I always try to check before posting, just in case I can learn something I didn't already know. You remember how that feels don't you?

All righty then. At the time of this post, one of my minions was whining and crying. She wanted a bottle. I had little to no sleep last night and was cranky.

Sorry for the outburst Smile

LOL. I was up at 4am with an asthma attack, after going to bed at 12am and after having a 3 year old with croup in the hospital all night 2 days before. Trust me, I fully understand.

This is hilarious. Moosehead is either a very poor communicator or a very poor "scientist". I have to admit that I laughed at the wiki reference too.

I guess Moosehead doesn't realize that there are plenty of people here with science degrees. It's like some clown starting a thread about grammar (intentional) saying Me is good. You guys are all wrong. I have an English degree, so I'm automatically right.

The question was so basic. The answer so simple, yet people were looking way to much into the question.
