|
|
I'll be looking for a place to store a few boxes, with possibly some books and clothes and kitchen items in them, at the end of the year. We're going away for a while before our new contracts begin and these are things we don't want to sell, or carry halfway around the world.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for me? Thanks a lot! |

| Try allied pickfords, they packed and stored a bunch of our boxes for a 100 000 won for 4 months. And they speak English. They don't usually like to store such small amounts, but they will still do it. http://www.alliedpickfords.co.kr/ They have offices near Yongsan station and Pyeongtaek city. Hope this info helps. |

I'll need this service to in a few months.
Rnh, Allied charged only 100,000 won to package your stuuf, store it for 4 months and deliver it? That seems very cheap |

| No, not delivery - we had to take our stuff there, it was about 3 or 4 boxes worth. They charged us about 25 000 a month. It was a further 80 000 to deliver them to us here in Jeollanamdo. |

| i used allied pickfords as well. i took the stuff there myself, but had them deliver it to my new location. since i live in the boonies it was about $400 to deliver. but there was no way i was going to rent a car and drive 5 hours each way. |

| Really are they safe. I would rather leave my expensive shit in a lock box rather than my apartment on vacation? |

| Have all of you who used Allied Pickfords stored stuff in Seoul? Because I just got a quote of 200,000 KRW/month to store some stuff with them at their Busan location... that seems to be a little more expensive than what people on here paid. And I don't have very much stuff - only 3 or 4 boxes and one small, collapsible piece of furniture. |

| How big was the space that you rented? I didn't really specify how large a space I need, maybe there are different prices for smaller spaces? |

I just got a quote for a move with Pickford, they wanna change me 600 000 for a small amount of boxes to be moved from Seoul to Yeoju. I'm not sure if I'm over reacting but that seems like a huge amount of money.
Does anybody have any other suggestions for moving a small amount of stuff a relatively short distance? |

Well, that is the new plan. The storage is no longer the problem, it's a matter of getting the things there.
That's what I need advice on now ^^ |
