Has anyone ever taken their dog on the KTX? My dog is tiny, like 3 pounds. It's a toy breed. I have to go to Busan next weekend and have no one to take care of him, plus I'd rather take him anyway.

Are dogs in carrying cases allowed on?

Not sure, but the woman sitting next to me had a rabbit in an animal carry bag.
Might have to disguise the dog with some big ears.

In a dog carrier? No problem, especially if you keep it under your seat or feet.

I will try to keep it under my seat, the only problem is my dog is a puppy. He hasn't had much time in the carrier, so hopefully he will not bark or cry, or else he might want me to hold him. He is so tiny, about 2 pounds or less. I can't see it being a problem, when ppl see him they love him.

It's no problem. I adopted from the Daejon shelter last week and brought up my pup with no hassles. She was kind of car sick so I took her out of her cage to sleep on my tummy and the attendants didn't bat an eyelid.

Actually...

www.lonelylifetime.com, if you're interested in helping out with fostering or adopting. Spread the word.

I brought (3) one-month-old kittens in a carrier on the KTX. I just put my hand inside and pet them to keep them quiet. They fell asleep 10 minutes into the ride anyway. No problem.
