Ascorbic acid = vitamin c tablets.
Saltpeter can be one of 2 substances; Potassium nitrate and Sodium nitrate. Which one do you want?
Potassium nitrate, a naturally occurring mineral source of nitrogen which makes up the critical oxidizing component of gun powder.
Sodium nitrate, an ingredient in fertilizers, explosives and in solid rocket propellants.
You can try a Chinese pharmacy and ask for 질산 칼륨, 초석. |

Can I get some that are not flavored? As above, I want to make sausage, and not citrus-flavored sausage. |

Your local pharmacy should have unflavored 1000 mg. (1 gram) tablets.
You'll have to crush them pretty fine for use in sausage though. |

Eulgiro 4 exit 6. Up the stairs and make a 180. There's a place that should meet all your chemical needs not more than a couple paces on the right. Just look for the place that has all the chemical containers and the funky smell.
The guy also has decent English.

That would be really great if I hadn't just gotten back from my first trip to Seoul in six months... |
