While I acknowlegde the fact that I may be opening the door for some conspiracy nuts, I think this is an interesting article.
I find it more than a little disturbing that a person would show up in a database originally designed to keep tabs on serious criminals for what is, in effect, a misdemenor (sp?) offence.

I guess I asked for it. but for the uneducated, can you explain to me how the HUGE Canadian military industrial complex benefits from Canada not allowing in an American anti-war protester?
Oh yes, I get it. In a country where the majority oppose the Iraq war and the government themselves decided to stay out of it, one American protester is going to cause the downfall of the entire Canadian arms industry.
By the way, no links on the Canadian arms sector are needed. I know we have one and I know we are a major exporter of arms to America. |

Trudeau was famous for being banned for travel to the USA because he used to write for left wing publications in the '50s and '60s. |
