I am on my way to doing a PhD in educational leadership.
But I was doing it as a cushion on my resume as it would seem to be a high-level qualification that might help me land a uni job in Korea- but with the way things are heading there, I might have to contemplate a life away from Korea
So I ask this really.....what kind of doors does a PhD open in places like the US or Canada?
I am not going into the medical field, yet after I am finished I would be called "doctor"......wow! Dr. ......cool.......
I just want to get some career ideas....... |

I have a friend with a masters. A PhD would be a very good choice for him
when you consider his work experience. If I had the time and money I
could probably get a PhD in the same field, but without any work background
in that field I doubt it would help me get a better job.
Your degree, experience, and interest have to fit together. |
