I am looking for advice.

1. I am a F2-1 Visa holder second one working on F5 but not sure I want it now.

2. My school insisted I get new transcripts as part of the "verification" process. Looks like they will be here in a couple weeks if I am lucky.

3. I resigned and will be looking for work or actually found work else where. To be honest I am somewhat hesitant about giving them the transcripts as I might need them and to be honest don't want to waste them by giving them to these people.

4. My uni did send a letter verifying that I graduated. But the decided that was not enough and want a new set of transcripts so I sent for them. They told me about 6 to 8 weeks but they are trying to get it rushed through the system for me.

Now my principal is bugging me where are my transcripts. I have a valid F2 visa and technically it is not my fault that they lost my original transcripts and I have been granted 3 E2 visas and 2 F2 visas. I was happy to supply a set of transcripts I have but they want new "sealed" ones.

Right now I am not inclined to give them over just to prove a point. They bring this up after I did an open class last week and spent several hours preparing for a Jeopardy game for our school festival. After all the dog and pony stuff is they are badgering me again. To say the least I am a bit pi$$y about it.

Feedback would be appreciated.

Jade the sick and tired.

If you are leaving in a month and a half, you may want to explain that they are not getting anything, and tell them the exact reasons why.

Or, you may want to prove it to them that you're legit, so they see they are losing you because they're asses and not because they flushed out a fake with their "new policies".

And I am back where I started...anyone with solid advice. I am on the fence trying to be objective but right now steam is coming out my ears and I am not inclined to help them in any way.

Technically I could probably walk into wonderland down the street and they would hire me. As I am F2 and don't have to go through any process at immigration. I could give them diploma, copies of TESOL, everything they want they would not be sponsoring my VISA I have one.

give them sealed transcripts with an invoice: whatever it cost to get the transcripts, plus whatever fee you feel like tacking on.

They are not your sponsor and can't do anything to you other than get pissy.

Refuse to hand over the transcripts. End of discussion.

It's not as though they can void your visa or remove your sponsorship.

Tell them to fire you. They can't (or won't) and if they are stupid enough to try you will have a case against them at the labor board for wrongful dismissal.

The worst they could do is suggest that your diploma is a fraud and make you prove otherwise in a court. You win and then you have a case for damage to your reputation.

You can't lose. Get pissy with them and quit playing their game.

Sorry. Tell them to stuff it then.

You are leaving, as your signature banner says? Then what's the big deal what they want?
