|
|
My school are telling me that I have to attend some seminar on Sat 10th Nov. They say its compulsory and I'll get fined if I don't go. Apparently its arranged by immigration and is about the social problems that foreigners cause in career (nice!). My school tell me that every single Hagwon teacher has to attend this seminar, which I find hard to beleive as I've never heard anyone mention it before.
Has anyone else been told they have to go? Has anyone ever heard of this compulsory seminar?? |

Damn Hakwon teachers quit spoiling the pure Korean society!
I've not heard anything from my public school about it. |

I love it when people create multiple threads about the exact same thing on the same day, don't you? |

Happens every year. I was one of them last year.
Answer to Hairy Jim: you don't have to go. |

Just skip it. I didn't go last year. Nothing happened. |
