Actually I have been used to feeling thus for years, with a few brief moments of lucidity thrown in here and there. Friday had a bit of it for me. The whole deal of work and life felt absurb, and what was the point of it? Ah, you say, we all go through that now and then, and isn't it even normal? Subjectivity is out of bounds, though each nods, but no one knows another's deal. I'm saying I had a little thing. Nuts I tell ya, that's what I was, and it was kind of fun. It had been a while.

I've never felt completely insane, but I've questioned my very subjective foundations and that notion is rather scary.

Sometimes you see things, or experience things which seem to cut through everything you've built up to understand subjectively, and if you're an introspective person at all that can have you questioning all sorts of things you never would've thought possible to question.

Yes...who wouldn't feel insane at least once a day when you're teaching in Korea. This is one insane little country.

Oh yes, 1 insane, anxious freakish week just gone.

I really did feel like I was cracking up.

I'll put it down to being sick I hope but facing 40 people was a very daunting prospect last week and my voice was shaky too. It was not pretty.

Maybe I need a heavy dose of foreign interaction.

The transitory nature of the objects, people, interpretations, thoughts and our own life situations leaves a fundamental sense of insecurity if probed too much.

The solution is to cling to the world and the objects, people that tell you what you are. Remain ignorant, in a sense.

I choose this world because I'm afraid of the unknown.
