My boss has agreed to give me a written release from my contract because he can't afford to pay me and he's going under so he's trying to be somewhat helpful. But I'm getting conflicting reports on the following.....
1) What exactly is the procedure after I get the letter?
2) I assume I have to go to Immigration in Seoul and present the letter....then what happens?
3) And this is the source of confusion....does the owner have to go with me to Immigration and explain the reason for the release, or can he simply call Immigration, or even better, does he have to do anything at all once I have the letter in hand?

HELP!! I need another job and want to get this done quickly.

1) That depends on what you want to do.
2) If you want to get another job in Korea during the period of your current contract, yes. Then, you will have to get a new visa.
3) He doesn't have to do anything.

No point in doing anything except hold onto the letter until you find a new employer.
