I'm looking for some some good steak restaurants in Seoul that has a good atmosphere to take someone on a date to.

I read the romantic restaurant thread and there was a long list of Italian restaurants. I'm looking specifically for places that serve steak.

There is a "churascaria" near city hall I'd like a report on. In South America, spec Brazil and Argentina, the kill cows and cook the whole thing and you get to point at the parts you want. That sounds like steak to me.

If you're looking to scrimp then one of many VIPs would be a safe bet... it's a little family orientated so I personally wouldn't go there for intimacy, but it does serve steak, and the steak isn't too bad... if you want to make it a little more respectable then the VIPs at the top of Namsan Park, overlooking Seoul would be my choice...

If money isn't too much of an object then I'd go to one of the hotels for the best food in Seoul... I've had a good few steaks at the JW Marriott - I think it's over in Banpo (connected to a Hyundai or Lotte Dept Store)... forget the station... their steakhouse is called JW's Grill, it's a bit pricey but atmosphere and food is more than worth it IMO... also they do a great buffet at one of the restaurants in the hotel - if you miss good cheese in Korea that's definitely the place to go...

what's your budget? if it's a non-issue, most high end hotels serve good steak at one of their restaurants (if money is a non-issue, hotel restaurants are generally a good bet for quality).

there's also a famous steak place in Cheongdam-Dong whose name eludes me right now, but i believe that place is even more ridiculously priced.

Eric's gets my vote as well. I think there are others as well, but I forget where they are.
