I need to get some work done on my bike (Honda CB400SF) - can anyone recommend a good bike shop as near as possible to Haebangchon/Itaewon? I want a good mechanic that's not gonna try and rip me off.. The small one near my house doesn't seem to know what he's doing!
Thanks |

Are you talking about the guy on the main road between Itaewon 2-dong and Haebangchang? I have been there before. I'd only trust him with oil changes. He changed my brakes with used ones once, and charged me for new (the gold spray paint was flecking off). He also couldn't fix something that another shop could (electronics on my lighting).
There is a mechanic near the over-the-street bridge on the way to Sookmyung Women's University. That's the closest shop I can think of. |

I'm talking about the small one on the main street of Haebangchon - he didn't really know what was up with my last bike a while ago, so I sort of lost faith in his abilities after then.
Are you talking about the one between the Istanbul and Taco restaurants? I was thinking about taking it there.. ?
Can you explain directions more to the one you suggested?
Anyone with a Honda (or Japanese imports) know where's good to get carburetors cleaned and tuned? |
