The new "R" rated AVP2 trailer is absolutely blazing with awesome.

Heads are being blown off.

Heads are being bitten off.

Heads are being punctured by alien sh*t.

Chicks are being pinned to the wall by shurikens.

Folks, this may very well be the best movie ever made.

Or, it may be a total pile of dogsh*t like the first one. Your call.

Will it have another Predator/Human love story? *pukes*

Thankfully the only reason I saw that horrible horrible movie was for I had a free ticket from buying the Predator special edition DVD.

Right there with those very words you just guaranteed yourself a seat at the table of ever-flowing beer and mead, in Valhalla, when you die. And that is fact.

Trailer1: just action scenes, looks like a lame, rambling, near-plotless killing spree

Trailer2: dramatic storyline of a town under attack cast in the airs of a LOST episode on steroids

Trailer3: characters finally revealed: a Ripley-type kickbutt woman, a young man and a couple of kids and a Battlestar Galactica / V sci-fi theme of struggling to survive

I fear there may not be enough character development of the heroes and dramatic dialogue and suspense, twists in storyline; instead, more of a slasher film focus on the killers and a predictability without redeeming qualities. Will we care about those trying to live? Will we be on the edge of our seats? Or will we peg who will live and who will die and not care which is which?

It'll be interesting to hear WHAT is said about the film by those who see it.

I don't know why, but, when I saw that sentence, I busted out laughing. Laughing

I know it'll never happen but an Ahnuld cameo (heck even Danny Glover) or role where he's a sheriff or something in the movie would make things more interesting... although I know the producers would ruin it and I've hated 90% of remakes/sequels where they bring back old characters.
