Happy Guy Fawkes Day!!

Hear! Hear! The big day is here.

ABC or somebody is saying a poll shows 75% of the public is disenchanted with the way things are going and want a change. Has RP tapped into that massive pool? We'll get some kind of indication when the day is over and his fund-raising drive reports in.

He has 1,500,000$ before noon.

Watch this video with all his crazy supporters in Los Angeles. They all look like freaks, quacks and weirdos.

Or, they look and act more normal than your typical nutty "code pink" dem or religious retard republican.

(edited from 4.5 to 1.5, I read it wrong).

About as "normal" as it gets in LA.

Truth is most looked like pretty decent Americans.

Wow, Ron Paul supporters, eh Idea

Maybe he does. But everyone has different interpretations. But the Supreme Court interprets the Constitution, not Dr. Ron Paul.

Or the Executive Branch, and then the Congress, ignore it.

Yeah, agreed. Doesn't want to make me vote for Dr. Paul, though.

It's 8:30PM in NYC and RP is up to: $6,316,313.95...

It looks like he's running out of steam...but then it's only 4:30 out in LaLa Land where he should have more support (birds of a feather...), so maybe he'll make it.

I just had a thought: If the FBI wants to know who the fruitcakes are, they could just tap into RP's donor lists. Exclamation I wonder if J. Edgar's replacement has thought of this.

Me too. It makes me think of Bush's, "You're either with us or against us" line. I think we all know where that kind of thinking has gotten us so far.

I'd say 42 of the 43 presidents also believed in the Constitution...there is some doubt about the present incumbent. But it makes me uncomfortable for RP to claim the Constitution as 'his'.

All cognizant American citizens know the Constitution & the sacred principles upon which it was forged are theirs.

Paul's total deposed Mitt Romney as the single-day fundraising record holder in the Republican presidential field. When it comes to sums amassed in one day, Paul now ranks only behind Democrats Hillary Rodham Clinton, who raised nearly $6.2 million on June 30, and Barack Obama.

Zinn would I'm pretty sure disagree with you on this point.

You certainly are an idealist.

Just curious how much of Ron Pauls' money is coming from foreigners? I would guess a rather large %.

It is against the law for foreigners to give money to US presidential candidates.

can you provide a link that states this? I gave money to Paul, from a Canadian address. If it were illegal, don't think they would have taken it.

It's 10:45 in NYC. How is RP doing? Hmmm...

$6,793,364.79

ONLY $3.2 million more to go to make the target...Only $5.2 million more to Win in New Hampshire, Iowa, Michigan, South Carolina and Nevada Exclamation

It's a horse race, folks. Can RP beat enough money of out the trees in LaLa Land to make his target?

Are you using more of that superior--but opaque--Canadian education on me? Zinn who? Fandel?

Would a realist Laughing Laughing like you care to clue us in on which previous presidents didn't believe in the Constitution? (There is some doubt about Nixon as well, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt today because I'm in a generous mood.)
