I love the melon bars and can eat three of them in one sitting. These have a green wrapper and maybe a photo of a melon. They are quite yummy and run 500 W a pop, get them on sale for much less.

Another favorite is the chocolate chip ice cream bar. This has a white outer shell, then a dark chocolate shell then the ice cream center. Not bad at all...these are harder to find than the melon bars.

Korean ice cream is nice and the price is right! Cool

You scare me. These are my 2 favs as well.

I think the periodic reoccurrence of threads with the same topic lend credence to the theory that disparate cultures wrought strikingly similar mythologies due to an archetypal limitation / function. Discuss amongst yourselves.

what is the archetypal limitation?

I think I confused the name of the soy ice cream place in Korea with their slogan ("soy delicious"...) The name of the place is "Pure Decadence", and I've been to the one near Yanjiae station, exit 6.

The Seoul Veggie club (led by "Kermo"...) is scheduled to meet at Dos Tacos in Hondae November 17 - and some members wll check out the Pure Decadence that's reportedly nearby ...

Baskin Robbins "Almond Bon Bon" - vanilla with swirls of chocolate pudding and chocolate covered almonds. Baskin Robbins, in general, has great ice-cream...

The Korean "Natuur" (sp?) - their vanilla and cookie is awesome!!

Ben & Jerry's and Haagen Dazs "chocolate chip cookie dough"... very tasty!! I've seen Haagen Dazs here, but I don't think there's any Ben & Jerry's (although there damn well should be!!!).

At home, an independent grocer down the street from me made an Oreo ice-cream that was just incredible - made with fresh cream and crushed up Oreos right out of the bag... Oh, man!!
