This is pretty sad; I really like Oprah. I'm sure it must be horrible as she accidently put these girls in the same situation she fought most of her life to escape (she was sexually abused as a girl). |

Ok. Your quote shows about the accusations at her school, but does nothing to support your claim that she's labelled all ESL teachers in Asia as pedophiles. I've NEVER heard those claims from her (or reported as being said by her).
If you're going to make such a statement, I hope you can back it up with a quote from her, pertaining to ESL teachers in Asia, not her school in South Africa.

Also, an enabler is someone who knows something is going on and continues to not only allow it to happen, but somewhat aids it in happening. She's not doing that at all. Once the claims were made, she's taken many steps to STOP the situation, and get rid of the people in question. She is also taking many steps to ensure that future staff members there go through much more in depth screening. Oprah was not personally responsible for who was hired to work there, but after hearing about what was going on, has made the choice to become much more involved in knowing who is in her school.
That doesn't sound like an enabler to me.
You just sound like an idiot. |

Well at least I never signed the paycheck for a pedophile while accusing ESL teachers in Asia as all being potential pedos. Find your own links, you slovenly, lazy Oprah fan. |

While I agree with most of your post, I'm not entirely sure the bolded part is correct. I heard she had personally interviewed all students and faculty for her school, but I could be wrong.
Be that as it may, Optimus has an obvious dislike for Oprah, so he has chosen skewed words to paint his picture. Hey, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, we all do it... |
