I'm having trouble getting my head around why Oprah is a bad person for campaigning against sex tours for pedophiles in SE Asia. Stopping this kind of outrage is a bad thing? |

You claimed that she made statements about the ESL industry... where are they? Did you personally hear her or witness them? Or did you read about them somewhere? |

While I haven't seen a link to them, it would surprise me little that Oprah criticized English teachers in Asia, or the industry in general, for being prime for pedophiles. |

I see in other threads you don't provide links either.
But OK, I'll admit. It was from watching Oprah during the Mark Karr incident. She said male ESL teachers in Asia have a high likelyhood of being pedophiles. or something to that effect. Actually, I could swear there was a discussion about it here, or another website. But again, no, I'm not gonna google to scrounge it up for you Bonb-Bon eaters. I know what that cow said, as do lots of others somewhere the discussion went on. Either here or Ajarn or maybe Marmots. |

Listen, I schooled you there as well, so I'll put it here. There are no links available for my personal observations about the zoo. If you are too thick to understand that, then you really shouldn't be teaching anyone.
However, you seem to have caught on to it, and are NOW using it in this thread. So, you have no link but you think you heard it on a show... fine. I'm not sure why you didn't say that 3 pages ago when asked repeatedly (and only said it after I gave the "personal example" example), but, meh, whatever.
You obviously have a hate on for the woman - and I'm sure you have your reasons for it.
But as far as I can see, you've only proven that she hired someone who later committed a crime. Unless you have some Minority Report way of telling who will commit a crime in the future, how would anyone not fall into the same situation?
Did she commit the crime?
Did she support the criminal after the fact?
Did she try to cover it up?
What exactly did she do wrong here?? Hire someone who went on to do something bad??

| No links so dont flame me but why the hell does she have to be such a stuck up, sanctimonious turd anyway? I respected Mother Theresa because she did what she did out of a personal devotion. But Oprah? Its all for show so she can score some points for her image and make more money. All her charity, all her good works are a big PR campaign. A big, fat hypocrite. |

Presumably Oprah has a LOT of people on staff, all over the world.
Some employees obviously over-step the line. Lacking practical wisdom, skillful means, they manifest personal issues feeding baggage which should immediately disqualify them from any entrusted position.
The BIG "O" presumably has a good heart, & is clearly committed to resolving all problems  |
