I heard a rumor that there is an Olive Garden somewhere in Seoul, possibly around Apgujeong. Is there any truth to this? |

If this is true, I will be a very happy woman.
If you're just randomly thinking of a great restaurant to tempt us all, only to deliberately disappoint us, I may have to get a little angry. |

Hehe I'm starting to like you.
I haven't been to the Olive Garden since I was in Florida... and that was in 2001. |

I didn't realise they were an American chain. They score an 8 on my buffet scale, but could do without applying BBQ sauce to iceberg lettuce an calling it salad or getting epileptic kiddies in the kitchen to squeeze the mayonnaise bottle over the chobap. |

I had Olive Garden once, in America. I thought it was fairly average. Kinda like the TGIF of pasta. |

oh please let this be true....god I could kill for some Chicken Fettucini Alfredo and garlic bread sticks.
I looked on the Olive Garden website and apparently they are only in the US and Canada. |

Olive Garden has got to be the worst restaurant chain ever. Nastiest Italian food I've ever eaten. Tasted like it had been scrubbed and sanitized of all authenticity and flavor. Bleeeech! |

Wow, never heard of anyone liking the Olive Garden before.
I've never been there, so I have no idea, but this is new to me. |

It's a horrible chain and completely worth passing by...except on Wednesdays when they have all you can eat pasta & salad.
I wonder if they'll put people's pictures on the wall if they eat 10 bowls of Fettucini Alfredo like they do back home. |

Want to hear a true story about Olive Garden in the USA? It was in a restaurant manager/owner business magazine.
At one location, a woman sent back chicken b/c it was undercooked. It took a long time to get it back, so she ate a little and took it to go so she wouldn't hold up her family.
A week or so later she had a sore on her mouth and she went to the doctor. The doctor asked if she had oral sex with new partners and she hadn't. He informed her she had herpes. He asked if she had eaten at any restaurants recently and she mentioned Olive Garden. He said it was too bad she didn't have any samples of the food, but alas, she had frozen her chicken and it was still in her freezer.
Lab tests showed 3 different kinds of male excretion. She won millions of dollars in the lawsuit.
Moral of the story: Don't piss off the workers.
There's much better Italian restaurant than Olive Garden. It's in Sinchon. Walk towards Yonsei and look on your right for "Parmi" with the statue out front. |
