OK got 2 random questions and I'm hoping someone out there has the answers...

1) Does the duty free at the incheon airport sell soju? My mother collects bottles of alcohol from different countries and I don't feel like having soju in my checked luggage if I can help it. I don't want the bottles to break and the duty free could be an answer.

2) Does anyone know of anywhere that sells license plates? I've got another relative that collects these and was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere that sells them. Doesn't have to be new and can be a bit beat up for character.

thanks for any help!

Re the soju. Get some of the plastic bottles from the supermarket. That's what I did. Took far too much, but no problems checking it in. Duty free will sell it, but it's more expensive and could cause a problem going through the whole seal-able bag thing - especially if you have to transfer en route.

Not sure about license plates. Namdaemoon market??

I can second the soju advice. That's what I did when I went home to England. Just take a crate of the plastic bottles. I guess it could be a problem if you really only want one bottle, though.

thanks those bottles might do as I'm planning on having my friends try this stuff as well...how many are you allowed to bring? Someone suggested a crate? Exactly how much soju is that? Does the plastic bottled soju taste any different?
