Hands up who considers the Ramones a real band anyway..to me they were a novelty band, much like Kiss the Monkees or the Partridge Family.

i think about 10 of their albums played back-to-back vanquish anything you could ever compose, using any talent you've been born with or acquired.

there's a lot of rock and roll out there. most thinking people would agree that their records could make it into top 100s important records, regardless of whether or not the critic/historian liked their music.

they changed rock and roll. you have no argument, just a poorly-researched/thought out opinion. dismissed.
