My classroom is fairly large; the biggest in my HS (maybe a little bigger than 30 pyung?). I often use material off the net for listening exercises, but the volume just doesnt carry.
I only have simple computer speakers 1.5W x 2. What kind of new speakers should I be looking for that will do the job?
Dont really understand the differences between 5.1 or 2.1. Should I just get speakers with a much larger output (watt) or do I have to get 5.1 speakers?
Please mention the specs I should be looking for, not really concerned about brand. |

5.1 means there are 5 speakers and a subwoofer. Clearly, that would be overkill for a classroom and is really only used for surround sound movies.
2.1 should be fine. The set i have in my classroom are 20w and I have no problem with volume, although my classroom isnt as big as yours. |
