I applied for a seemingly decent position at Sisa Changwon, which I realize is related to YBM.

Can anyone tell me about them and their Changwon branch? I didn't find much on my searches of previous posts. Thanks a lot!

Be careful, don't assume it's a YBM Sisa unless you can find a specific reference to YBM company membership/program stuff. My first school called themselves Sisa Foreign Lasnguage School....absolutely no connection to YBM Sisa at all. They just wanted to use the name to draw in students.

You've probably already researched if it's truly a YBM Sisa branch, but if not there's 2 cents worth.

There are two unrelated ones in Changwon.

yeah, very important to know which one it is....

I can tell one has a bit of a reputation here in changwon among the foreigners...it seems like a revolving door.

OK, so I was wrong and this school is not related to YBM...they must be the one you mentioned Samantha. Is this where you worked?
They are located in Sangnam Dong near city hall. The director is Mr Kim and his wife is Su.
I'm curious to know if it is the one with the reputation, Just Because. Everything seems OK, except for the split shift factor, but since I want to teach adults that is an inescapable reality I guess.
I can post a sample contract tomorrow if you all would not mind looking it over and making me aware of any red flags.
