Many of you guys are acting like Oprah is your mom. WTF? |

Why not give credit where credit is due? |

I wonder who came up with her list and how scientific it is. Wouldn't any *teacher* qualify for a good many of them?
1. Adults who seem preoccupied with children
2. Single adults who work or volunteer with children's clubs/activities and frequently spend their free time doing "special" things with kids
3. Adults who spend time volunteering with youth groups who do not have children in those groups
4. Adults who seem to engage in frequent contact with children, i.e., casual touching, caressing, wrestling, tickling, combing hair or having children sit on their lap
5. Adults who act like children when with children or who allow children to do questionable or inappropriate things
6. Adults who want to take your children on special outings too frequently or plan activities that would include being alone with your child
7. Adults who do not have children and seem to know too much about the current fads or music popular with children
8. Adults that your children seem to like for reasons you don't understand
9. Adults who seem able to infiltrate family and social functions or are "always available" to watch your kids
Apparently forgot #10. African dorm matrons who have absolute authority over their charges. |

What are you talking about? I wasn't arguing with you on that thread. I was simply reading it and noticed you provided the following answer to someone who demanded a link from you:

There are no links available for my personal observations about the zoo. |
there are no links for me watching a TV program.
| Captain Corea wrote: |
If you are too thick to understand that, then you really shouldn't be teaching anyone. |
really? what does that say about you?
| Captain Corea wrote: |
So, you have no link but you think you heard it on a show... fine.
|
Nope, just link you in the zoo thread, no link. Just my own eyes and ears, like you in the zoo thread, but somehow you want people to believe your observation, but not mine. because, what? you draw comics, a pastime most 8 year-olds have grown out of?
| Captain Corea wrote: |
I'm not sure why you didn't say that 3 pages ago |
That would entail admitting to have watched Oprah.

But hey, continue your hate on for the woman, no skin off my nose. I am (and maybe others reading this are) just mising what exactly she did in this situation that is so bad. |
She personally interviewed and deemed the pedophile of good character. She's responsible. Just the way the world works. |
Again, you lack any substance.
You could not provide a link and did not mention it was a personal observation until AFTER you noticed that I used a personal observation in another thread. Why not just say 'I saw it on Oprah'?
But I'll state this again for your simple self, if you want to discuss the vitues or lack there of, of the Seoul Grand Park Zoo, then let's have at it. Otherwise, your participation in that thread was weak and feeble.
As for here, you say that she is responsible... how?
Did she commit a crime?
Did she cover up a crime?
Did she permit a crime to continue?
You say she is responsible, but your only connection is that she interviewed the employee. Do you have some trained pedophile detecting skills that you are able to detect one in an interview?
Please, do tell. How would you ensure that any of your employees do not go on to commit a crime while in your employ?
You attack anyone that questions your opinion and even go so far as to haunt them and bring this argument into other threads.
I didn't really pay attention to your post until now, but I'm quickly realizing that Ya-ta Boy is right.
Just to summarize for you:
-You posted about Oprah in the Korean Topic Forum - there's no connection to living in Korea.
-You Said that she's "been vilifying all Asian ESL teachers as molesters" - there's no proof.
-You said that she is an enabler - There's no proof.
Pretty much, the only ting you've done is call her (and other people) names.
You've got nothing. |

You're in love Oprah, aren't you? And again, I was not participating in the zoo thread. I made one post in that thread regarding Korean TV animal shows. Are you drunk or something? |

Lie, this is what you said:

hmmm...interesting that you demand links in another thread...but when you are making a point...you don't feel the need. |
Bringing an argument from one thread into another.
And I notice how you continue to skirt any questions about the actual nature of this thread. The best you can come with is "You must love Oprah". And I think a page or so back you called her "Pope-rah".
wow, how long ago did you get out of Jr High??
Are you seriously that unable to carry on a discussion on a subject?
I'm starting to feel sorry for ya man, it's actually quite sad.
((On a side note, I find it funny that a poster with the moniker Optimus Prime is wanting to make fun of me for drawing comics. lol)) |

Damn. This is funny. I love Oprah. Always have, always will. Sometimes I wear pink sweaters, maybe that's why. |
