Hi everyone,
I was hoping you could suggest a text or some other material that I could use to structure a lesson plan around.

The student is a mid 40's, advanced English speaking, CEO. He's interested in economics and politics and from my initial assessment, has trouble conveying the real meaning of this thoughts, or as he puts it; it's hard to retrieve the proper words from his 'storage space' and ends up saying the same thing over and over again.

If anyone could suggest a text or something, anything, that would help with 'free speech' within a business context, I'd really appreciate it.

I think "Profiles" advanced would cut the butter.

Why don't you ask him to write a text of his ideas on how to run a good business.

Then, you correct his written english, after that you can start a discussion.

This way he has already organized most of it in his head, and the discussion is then used to "imprint" it into his mind.

Can't seem to find 'profiles' on-line; I'll keep looking though. The business plan idea sounds great as well. He also mentioned something about reading, reviewing and critiquing articles... any idea what kind of magazines there are and where I could pick them up?

Ah, that's facinating work, I wish you the best. I graduated from an advanced business school and used these sites in my studies.

www.investopedia.com has a business dictionary, articles, and much more that you can use to generate necessary vocabulary studies.
