I've begun compiling a directory of language games. Many just for fun and adults, many for learning English. Take a look, let me know which you like best......

thanks for the comments.

I'll be adding more and culling as I go on. Just want the best games. so often you get to a game sight and it is just click and destroy. Seemingly fun but it could be combined with something much more educational.

Cheers,

This stuff rocks, guys. Don't miss out on using this stuff. The formats are easy to adjust to whatever lesson plan/level you're working with. The "ooohs and aaahs" I've had in the classroom over the past few months are awesome.

Here's one. Get a bag of that ABC chocolate. Each chocolate has a letter (sometimes a number) printed on it. Pair off students. Pull a chocolate. Read the letter. Have them each write down the longest word they know that begins with the letter. Whoever writes the longest word wins the chocolate.

I am playing the grade 4 level of WHOMP and just can't beat the Yeti man! Not so interactive, learning based but an addictive game nonetheless...
