While looking for a job , by being in korea , are we spoiling the hogwons

I remember when i d finish a contract , Id do one of two things go home , or go on vacation. While I wasnt in korea , I d look for a job.
Id e mail a couple of recruiters and they d spend me some contracts .Eventually id end up chatting with a few directors.
Now that i in korea , Im expected to have an in person interview at every school , regardless of where it is. It could be at the other end of korea , thye expect me to go ,cause I m in korea.
Some even expect me to go to the head office , and then go to the branch.
Often I will ask to see the contract; prior to hte interview , for the most part im told that I can see the contract when i come for an interview.
As for negotiating contracts , from my experience ,the only companies willing to negotaite are the ones whos salary is too low to begin with .Or their contract is unjust , for example : the boss woul negotiate giving you 5 days off at x mas instead of 3 days as posted on the contract
