He got 31.97% of the votes cast. The next closest active candidate was Edwards at 15.6%. Kucinich DOUBLED his nearest competitor. Amazing. It's even more so when you look at the interactive map and see that he won all but eight states. That would mean a landslide victory for nomination were the same to play out in real elections.
Interesting. Perhaps my dream ticket, the Unity Ticket, of Kucinich and Paul is a little more possible than any of us thought. Kucinich wins online poll, Paul rakes in 4.2 million... Interesting week in the world.
BTW, Gore was second at 24.77%. |

Meanwhile on planet earth, Ron Paul is presently at 4%
In his defense, that is twice the % he had at the end of september. Congrats Ron.
And as far as Kucinich goes, he is at 2%, which is 1% lower than in September.
And if you are questioning my numbers, just do a google search of presidential polls. They'll all give you similar numbers. |

Goober and joo-joo come in with their highly intellectual, "I insult instead of respond" right on cue. Can't be bothered with the topic, eh, kiddies?
1. Let's see: wins an on-line poll even though nobody, and do mean NOBODY would have been able to predict it.
2. Not only wins, but wins running away.
3. The second place finisher isn't even in the race.
Now, these are interesting changes for a campaign that has gotten literally zero attention, but the best you can do is insult me? You do realize that every time you do that, it's one more indication of just how much power I have over your scared little minds, right? Why would you pay attention if both the topic and I are not worthy of attention?

Please DO notice the adjective hilighted above. Adjectives are useful. I like them. Thus, there was nothing not of Earth in the post, friend. Even so, it got enough of your attention for you to not only post, but go find information to rebut the results of the poll. Hmmm.... M'thinks the three of you protesteth much.
As for analysis, it wasn't long ago people were saying Paul's support was all smoke and mirrors. That was nearly $10,000,000 dollars ago. Kucinich doesn't seem likely to suddenly catch fire, but he is the best candidate in the race on the issues. It will be sad, but typical, if Americans don't notice him before this is all over. |

OK. Here is the bottom line: Are you and your on-line community registered Republicans? Because I am. And I will never nominate Ron Paul as the Republicans' candidate.
And I feel that I am on pretty solid ground when I tell you that, and let us take Ya-ta Boy's number, above, as our guideline, that ninety-six percent of the Republican Party will never nominate the moron, either.
Let the internet community donate as much money as they like. And conduct all the fantasy-football-style online polls you like...Have fun.

I hope people from other nations donate money to Paul's campaign (not like he is going to win anyway ) it is free money that gets into the US economy. |

When I lived in the States, I donated a lot of money to Howard Dean (e.g. I attended a private house party with Howard Dean in attendance and John Cougar Mellencamp (or whatever he's called these days) was the entertainment.). Thus, I'm on the mailing list of every Democratic organization possible. Kucinich was the only candidate to email me about this "important" on-line poll. And they emailed me several times about it. Thus his victory wasn't really much of a surprise to those "in the know."

Shamed the poor guy into actually addressing the topic. Am I good, or what? As for your rant, howler gopher, good for you. You DID notice the article isn't about Ron Paul, right? Let me also point out Ron Paul need not be nominated by Republicans to run for President or VP.
Can we get back to Kucinich? I find it interesting that Paul's mirror image on the Dem side actually made a wave at the same time Paul was making a big one... food for thought. Maybe the deep-seated disgust with the the US government and the weak will of it's Congress and people is starting to present itself in tangible ways. |

Look. Bacon, Lettuce, Tamato and the 5 other people accross America who support Kimchi can have all the online polls they want. They can blog to their heart's content about how great of a president Kimchi would be. It, however, doesn't change the fact that she will likely be the next Democratic nominee:
