At present, I work from home, otherwise I probably wouldn't bother.

Um yeah. Like Otis is a typical example of people posting from outside Korea.

a few of the bigger contributors on the c.events forum are no longer in korea. Not much of a connection between the subject-matter and Korea on that one.
Those same contributors rarely if ever post on forums beyond CE and off-topic.

Let me point out Otis is a cautionary tale. An end of the extreme.

Otis would be extreme on any corner on the internet - expat or not.

Although I am not in Korea now, I have all intentions on going back to Korea and I do have alot of friends who I know from the forum, so I find this way as being conventient to keep in contact with them AND with what is going on in Korea.
There are some with no intentions of going back, but what I have found is that no matter how long a person stays away from Korea, they seem to always go back

This site motivates me to continue what I do now until I am perfectly ready to go back....no matter whether people like the fact I post here or not.....if it was forum for only for people currently living in Korea, about 30% of the posters might be kicked out, BUT since this is a public internet forum, I think it is a great mix of people still there and people who want to keep up with things there........

My question is......so what?
